Spa Chair

If anyone has the spa chair, can you tell me if it is worthwhile for hairstyling? Does the doll stay in, or is it more for pretend play?

We have the spa chair but it is still in hiding. For hair styling, we are now using the BB rocking horse. It has a strap to hold the doll in position. The spa chair does not have a strap, though the ones at AGP salon do. They are also bolted to the counter.

So although we haven't actually used it,I would not think it would be very good for actual hair styling. I would love to hear from some people who have actually used it, hoping I am wrong. It does have arms, maybe that helps hold the doll in place?

The stylists at the AGPC salon said the spa chair is not recommended for styling hair, but the treat seat would work well. (Of course for that you have to have a table that it will fit on.)

However, if you added a belt and bolted the chair to a counter, you too could probably get the spa chair to work.

I've found the best position for hairstyling is to just clamp that dolly between my knees to keep her from struggling. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

But the spa chair is really cute for pretend styling sessions. [img]redface.gif[/img]
